VICENTE GELÓS TEN (Flute)

Starts his studies at Musical Artistic Centre of Bétera, continuing in Conservatory of Music in Valencia, where in the guidance of E. Forés graduates the elementary studies of flute. Graduates also the middle and higher studies with Jaime Martin and later moves to Amsterdam to study with Harrie Starreveld (CNSM Amsterdam Sweelinck).

He has made advanced studies with teachers: R. Dick (International Solo Artist and Composer of Contemporary Music), J.C Gerard (Hochschule Stuttgart), Maxence Larrieu (CNSM Geneva), Vicens Prats (Orchestra of Paris), W. Hazelzet (Soloist International Early Music and Baroque) and M. Cox (BBC and London Symphony) and others.

Founder of Group ILLANA, maintaining persistent activity from its origin in 1997.

He has been working with the Classical Orchestra of Valencia, Orchestra “Ciudad de Valencia”, Orchestra “ Cervera Lloret”, “Orquesta Filarmónica de Requena¨ and with the Orchestra and Chorus of the BACHAKEDEMIE of Stuttgart, led by Helmuth Rilling.

Has offered either chamber concerts and as a soloist at the Concert Hall of the Museum St. Pius V, Circulo de Bellas Artes, Diario Levante as well as in the other halls of the country and the United Kingdom, accompanied by guitar player Sergio Santes.

Thanks to his studies of modern jazz harmony with J.D. Flors, combo and improvisation with Jorge Pardo and Joan Soler, he could work with the guitar player Manuel Hamerlinck, Pepe Guerola and bassist Jose Luis Porras in various projects of improvised music.

Since 1991 he has been working in different educational centres and music schools in Valencia.

 

 

 

 

VICENTE GÓMEZ PABLO (Oboe)

Llíria, 1979. Begins his studies of music in the Unió Musical de Llíria with teachers Francisco Salanova and Manuel Tomas getting awarded with elementary level at the Conservatory of Valencia. Continues his musical studies at the Professional Conservatory of Llíria with Sebastian Gimeno and Vicente Carbonell where he gets the Chamber Music Awards and Medium Grade in oboe. Continues his studies at the Conservatory of Music "Joaquin Rodrigo" Valencia with Francisco Salanova where he gets the title of Senior Lecturer in the specialty of Oboe and where he participates in the orchestra of such a center as oboe and English horn soloist.

Has realized training courses with Francisco Salanova (Professor at the CSM Valencia), Vicente Llimerá (Professor at the CSM Castellón), Emmanuelle Abbül (Professor at the CNSM Rotterdam), Salvador Mir (Soloist Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria) Maurice Bourge (International soloist and professor at the CNSM Paris) and Ingo Goritzky.

He has worked with professional groups such as the group of professors from the Conservatory of Music Torrente and Tarragona, Barcelona Municipal Band, Orchestra Camerata XXI, Symphony Orchestra of Castilla y Leon, Alicante Symphony Orchestra and the string quartet "Els Arcs" . He has also collaborated with Jeunesses Musicales World Orchestra (JMWO).

As a teacher, has been practicing in schools and conservatories of Music in the Provincial Council of Tarragona, in the centers of Reus and Tarragona, and in the Professional Conservatory of Music "Angel Barjaba" Astorga (Leon). Since 2006 belongs to the body of Teachers of Music and Performing Arts in Valencia.

He is currently professor of oboe at the Professional Conservatory of Music in Elche.
He is a member of the Group Illana since November 2006.


JOAN ANGEL ESTEVE SAYAS (Clarinet)

Valencia, 1967. Musical studies at the Conservatory of Music in Valencia where he obtained "Honorable Mention" at the end of Elementary Grade and Middle Grade studies.Continued at the Conservatory of Music in Alicante with Francisco Florido, obtaining there the title of Senior Lecturer in the specialty of Clarinet and the End of Career Award "Honorable Mention".

Furthers his studies at L'Ecole Normale of Musique "Alfred Cortot" in Paris with Jean Louis Sajot (Clarinet of the National Orchestra of France) where he obtained the Solist License and the Higher Diploma in Chamber Music in the National Conservatory of Versailles ( France) with Philippe Cuper (Clarinet-Soloist in the Orchestra of the Paris Opera) obtaining Silver Medal in Clarinet and Gold Medal and First Prize in Chamber Music.

Performed Post-graduate studies with Silvestri String Quartet and in the School of Music in Barcelona under the tutelage of Joan Enric Lluna.
He was awarded the 2nd. prize in the competition "Leopold Bellan" (Paris) and 1st. prize in the Young Artists ”Francisco Guirado”(Valencia).

Has realized improvement courses with J.E.Lluna (soloist and a professor at the ESMUC of Barcelona), Guy Deplus (Professor of CNSM Paris), Reinhard Weiser (Clarinet of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra), Walter Boeykens (Concertist and professor at the CNSM Rotterdam), Anthony Pay, Wolgfang Meyer ...

He has developed his teaching job at the Professional Conservatory of Music in Valencia, Oliva, Onteniente, Castellon, Torrente, Elche, Denia, Requena and currently in Vall d’Uixó.
He has played in the Orchestra of UNESCO, Ensemble d'instruments de vent d'Ile de France, Orchestra of the Ecole Normale of Paris, Alicante Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra "Cervera Lloret," Classical Orchestra of Valencia and has collaborated with the Company Lyrical of Valencia.

He has performed at Versailles, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona ... both solo and in various chamber music formations. It has recently interpreted the W.A. Mozart Concerto for Clarinet with Cervera Lloret and Mare Nostrum Orchestras in the Palau de la Musica de Valencia, Sagunto and Requena.

It has also been a component of the Orchestra of the Conducting and Singing Courses with Maestro José María Cervera Collado held in Buñol, Alborache, Elche among others.

It has also collaborated with Euskadi Symphony Orchestra under the direction of the Masters Gilbert Varga, Cristian Mandeal Juanjo Mena and offering concerts in Pamplona, Bilbao and San Sebastián.
Currently is a member of Philarmonic Orchestra of Requena (Valencia).



MIGUEL ANTONIO PUCHOL PEÑARROCHA (Fagot)

Lliria, 1972. Began his musical studies at the eight years in the city of Banda Primitiva with Professor Pascual Sancho.

Later, in the Conservatory of Music "Joaquin Rodrigo" in Valencia under the tutelage of Professor Miguel Lopez extended the studies of middle-level finishing with the highest qualifications.

Realizes studies in the Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Madrid with Professor Vincente Merenciano obtaining the title of Senior Lecturer in the specialty of Bassoon with the highest qualifications and obtined the Honor Award.

In 1992 became part of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (Jonde).

In early 1994 he became a component of the Orchestra of the Balearics "Ciudad de Palma". He holded this position until 2002.

Since 2002, is a professor of the network of conservatories of the Generalitat Valenciana. At present he is teaching in the Conservatory of Music of Castellon.

Currently working assiduously with the Orchestra of Valencia as a bassoon soloist.

He is a member of the Group Illana since September 2007.



HÉCTOR PERTEGAZ ZARAGOZÁ (Horn)

Barcelona, 1973. Musical studies at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Valencia with José Rosell, where he gets the Degree of Professor Superior of Horn.

He continues his studies at Brass Academy of Villaeral with Adam Friedrich, Daniel Bourgue (Professor CNSM Versalles), Herman Baumann (Solist International).

He has made improvement courses with Javier Bonet (National Orchestra of Spain), Vicente Zarzo (Professor CNSM La Haya), Francis Orval.

He has been professor at the Conservatory of Silla and at the present at Tarazona (Zaragoza).

He played with Ciudad de Malaga Orchestra, New Philarmonic Orchestra of Valencia.




JOSEPH MARDON (Piano)

Versalles, 1962. Musical studies and the National Conservatory of Music of Versalles (France), with Madeleine Chacun, where he gets Gold Medal and a First Prize at Piano unanimously.

He continues his studies with Jeanine Boutin, Nadine Wright and Marie-Catherine Girod.

He has made improvement courses with Eugenie Marilinin in París and with Laszlo Baranyay (Franz Liszt Academy) at the Slatoslav Richter Festival in Tours.

He has been Professor at the National Conservatory of Music of Versalles, Blanc-Mesnil and Perpignan.

He has given lessons in several courses in France (Perpignan) and Spain (Lérida, Requena, Torrente).

He has given concerts in France, Spain, Russia as solist and as chamber music pianist.

Now he lives in Spain he was been Professor at the Professional Conservatory of Torrente and at the present he is Professor at the Superior Conservatory of Valence.
